Artist Chris Buzelli recently created this awesome painting, entitled Kitty (oil on cradled board), for a friend’s wedding invitation. The couple asked a some friends to each illustrate a few sentences about their lives. Chris received this sentence: ”She encouraged him to appy to grad school. He encouraged her to captain her own ship. Uncharted waters lay ahead for them both.” And this wonderful painting, depicting a giant cat cradling a boat and facing off with an octopus, is what he came up with. We love it.

Artist Heather Mattoon has created Cat in Clothes, a delightful series of cat paintings where each cat gets a name and a personality to fit its unique outfit. Fine art giclée prints of the portraits are available at her Etsy shop, HeatherMattoonArt. Currently, they are also available to purchase at Fab. She does custom painted portraits of pets as well.
